I Got This is an uplifting work for 2–3 part chorus, piano, and optional percussion that encourages singers to embrace confidence, perseverance, and self-belief. Commissioned by Castle of our Skins and developed in partnership with Boston Public Schools, the piece offers students an engaging opportunity to build vocal and ensemble skills while exploring contemporary repertoire by an African diasporic composer.
 
The accompanying curriculum guide by Joi Harper includes ready-to-use lessons and activities that support musical growth, creative expression, and meaningful classroom discussion.
