Collate is a dynamic work for concert band by composer Jelani N. Surpris. Written for developing wind ensemble musicians, the piece invites performers to explore collaboration, balance, and ensemble communication through engaging rhythms, textures, and musical dialogue. As students bring together individual musical lines into a unified whole, Collate highlights the power of collective artistry and shared expression.
