For over a decade, Castle of our Skins has transformed the classical arts landscape — centering Black artistry, unearthing hidden histories, and cultivating cultural curiosity across generations.
This special benefit concert reunites co-founders Ashleigh Gordon and Anthony R. Green for an evening of reflection, world premieres, and celebration. Featuring music by Ed Bland, Jeffrey Mumford, Adolphus Hailstork, and Anthony R. Green, the program traces the artistic lineage that shaped Castle of our Skins — from first discoveries to newly commissioned works written specifically for this occasion.
As we honor the legacy built since 2013, we look ahead to our next chapter — including our new home at 566 Columbus Ave.
