Our Spot/Light series showcasing innovative local Black artists across genres returns this June with two special evenings at More Than Words.
First Black Cotton Club takes over the space for a pop-up community experience featuring live music, an impromptu jam session, and opportunities to connect and experience the energy of music created in the moment.
A few weeks later We Black Folk brings together performance, conversation, and community to celebrate Black folk arts and traditions while creating platforms for underrepresented stories and music. Together, these two events celebrate the richness, creativity, and breadth of Black artistic expression in Boston.
