About the event
Join us for the interactive performance and hands-on activity, led by percussionist Steph Davis that showcases Negro spirituals as arranged for marimba. Learn about the history of this music in African American communities and culture, and create your own quilt square to contribute to a community quilt that will be displayed in the Museum at the end of the summer.
Two 1-hour sessions at 12:00pm & 2:00pm
Free with Museum Admission.
