Join Castle of our Skins for A Little History 2.0—an interactive, family-friendly Juneteenth experience that brings nine moments of Black history to life through poetry, music, and storytelling.
At the heart of this program is a set of original works by composer Anthony R. Green for solo narrating marimbist. Each 30-minute performance combines evocative music, poetic narration, and audience participation to illuminate key historical moments—from the Kingdom of Benin to the brilliance of mathematician Katherine Johnson, from the legend of Mansa Abubakari II to the resilience of Juneteenth.
