My name is Rodrigo Sousa and I’m a Brazilian Black composer, writer, and poet born in 2002. I’vebeen studying composition by myself and with the help of other composers like Joseph Norman andMartin Herraiz. For me, music is like a painting, and the empty music score is like an empty canvas.I used to play tenor saxophone in a symphonic band for 3 years. I’ve already composed piecesfor symphonic band, full orchestra, string orchestra, big band, and chamber ensemble. In 2020Rodrigo Prado, Brazilian violoncellist, premiered my composition Surrealist Landscape virtually.
