In the year 2020 when covid hit I started my journey as a writer, starting off with short stories and creative poems. I grew to have such a passion for writing that in February of 2022, I was able to perform a poem about the inequities of healthcare for Bostons mayor Michelle Wu’s We are Boston 2022; From Dream to Action event held over zoom. As I learn to and grow as a poet, I learn a lot about myself and my communities and that is why I enjoy writing
