Kevin Terrell Madison (he/they) is a pianist-composer whose work spans classical performance, contemporary composition, and advanced theoretical practice. He holds a DMA in performance-composition from CalArts, and his music has been presented by WQXR, Bang on a Can, the Next Festival, Lunga Festival, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Contemporary Art Centre in Lithuania, Castle of our Skins, and the Seoul Museum of Art. Rooted in twenty-five years of piano study and extensive training in contemporary repertoire, theory, and technology, Kevin brings a rigorous, interdisciplinary understanding to his creative work. He has taught courses in score study, composition, and contemporary music practices at CalArts, where he also mentored undergraduate and graduate composers.
