Talkabout:
Black Composers

Thursday, May 14, 2015
6:30-7:30pm
Huntington YMCA of Greater Boston Lobby
316 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA  02115

As part of the American Composers Forum's "National Composer Night Out," Castle of our Skins hosted a discussion about Black composers, past and present. Moderated by COOS' leader Ashleigh Gordon, the FREE evening included a panel discussion with Boston composers, scholars performers and educators Bill Banfield, Julius Williams and Jonathan Bailey Holland. Previously collected questions from social media were discussed as well as those brought on by the lively discussion.
