bLACK sTUDENT UNION INTERCOLLEGIATE FESTIVAL

Castle of Our Skins' BSU Intercollegiate Festival is the second iteration of our 2022 BSU Fellowship. This year, we welcome musicians from Black Student Unions at select Massachusetts conservatories to collaborate and create. It's an opportunity to build a network of peers beyond institutional affiliation, a network informed by identity, experience, and aspiration. In our time together, we hope students will gain career-building skills through mentorship and professional and community development, all while having the opportunity to co-curate and/or perform in a culminating performance on April 1st, 2023. The theme for this year's performance will be Black Futures.

The festival requires as close to 100% participation as possible, with a total of three meetings: Thursday, March 23rd, 5-9pm, Saturday, March 25th 2-7pm, and Saturday, April 1st, 5-10pm (for rehearsal and performance). There will also be opportunities to attend concerts with your peers at select performances around the city.
