MORGAN BROWNHaving been introduced to music with piano lessons from her grandmother at an early age, Morgan was always drawn to music. She started her musical education in the 4th grade and continued into high school where she attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC for two years before transferring to Interlochen Arts Academy. Morgan began taking private lessons with Dr. Chelsey Green in the 5th grade and has been her mentee ever since.
Morgan Brown is currently a senior at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee studying Viola Performance and serves as the Vice President for the Black Student Alliance. While attending the Boston Conservatory, she has been introduced to a whole new world of performance and collaboration. Some of these projects include numerous professional recording sessions, Berklee College of Music Career Jam, 2022 COOS Intercollegiate BSU Fellowship pilot program, and recently the premiere of Boston Conservatory students’ original musical, The Mountain and Her Mortals. In addition to her music and performing careers, Morgan also has interests in arts administration, music business, and creative directing. Starting from 2021, Morgan has held internship positions with Paramount Media Networks/MTV Entertainment Studios, working in various departments across the company. |
