Patrick mcguirePatrick McGuire is a Boston-based cellist and educator. He has performed most recently with The Ambient Orchestra, A Far Cry, Ensemble ad Libitum, and Juilliard415. In addition to performing, Patrick works as the Communications Associate at Yo-Yo Ma’s Silkroad, a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Research Assistant at the Boston College Arts and Mind Lab. He studied with Joel Krosnick, Phoebe Carrai, Natasha Brofsky, and Andrew Mark, and has received the Joseph W. Polisi Prize, the Robert Sherman McGraw-Hill Award, and a U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship. Ed.M. Harvard University (Arts in Education); M.M., B.M.
