Adrienne BakerAdrienne is a flutist, educator and socially conscious musician from Wilmington, Delaware. After graduating from the Longy School of Music where she studied with Robert Willoughby on scholarship, she remained in the Greater Boston Area. Since joining Castle of our Skins, Adrienne has worked to build community partnerships with audiences that otherwise would not be exposed to classical music or the music of Black Composers.

With Saxophonist and COOS Educational Director Seychelle Dunn, they have explored works for winds by Black Composers and hope to continue to add to the repertoire having starting with Duos for Winds commissioned this year from COOS Composer In Residence Anthony Green.
In addition to her work with Castle of our Skins, Adrienne is also a member of the Arts Advocacy Group for the City of Cambridge. When she is not advocating for the rich heritage of Black Art in classical music, she is promoting the contributions of women to the genre.
